Four short sessions with the young growers at Surrey Square School in their purpose built poly tunnel increasing their knowledge of food, growing and connecting with nature. These sessions are run in partnership with Edible Rotherhithe Starting late September and running over four consecutive weeks till mid october.

On the 18th September Walworth Garden is opening its gates to WCGN members for free garden tours. Southwark Council is now supporting residents on Southwark housing estates who would like to grow food in new growing spaces or community gardens. Southwark’s Community Gardening Coordinators will help groups of 5 residents or more to look at potential sites and develop projects. On Saturday 20th May, we teamed up again with the members of The Walworth Society, to bring a plant swap to the garden of St. Peter’s Church.
