Yesterday we had such a good turnout of folk from all different south London growing projects come down to Glengall Wharf Garden and learn about composting

Jack Narbed covered a lot and made it super accessible to understand. He guided us through the differences between composts, particularly commercial and homemade. We covered some of the science between creating our own and spent time by the various composting bays on the site, discussing what this could look like in our own gardens. And ways to be resourceful & create with what’s at hand. Was really fascinating hear from each others experiences, have Jack to troubleshoot with and discuss why it’s vital we are creating our own compost, feeding the life in the soil and grow organically together.
Really excited to see how all our composting journeys unfold!
