The Berwick Court communal gardens are shared by more than 200 residents. It is a podium garden with a mixture of drought resistant planting, nectar rich pollinators, wild flowers and edibles set around two courtyards. There is also a separate “no-water” dry garden and shady wildlife-friendly “woodland” garden, including a pond.

Food growing project 
During lockdown 2020 the community took part in a food growing project, creating a number of raised beds using recycled materials.
The garden recycles as much of its green waste as it can, with nine compost bins.
